Guests meet, ride, touch and learn about the elephants and their willingness to act under instruction. The training techniques used by Zambezi Elephant Trails are based on the ‘perform and reward’ method as opposed to the controversial ‘discipline and submission’ technique commonly associated with Asian Elephants. The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is resident to many species of game, including wild elephant, which the domestic elephants freely interact with. A highlight to all visiting the Livingstone area is Thorntree River Lodge… ‘Home of the Elephants’.
